Be You! Be Original!

For the 2016-2017 Awards season, the slogan Be Seen! Be Original! Be Heard! was introduced via the Call for Submissions poster. The poster featured the Gold Medal awarded painting of Mr. Keiji Ishida who went on to be awarded a National Gold Medal for his Art Portfolio in the 2016-2017 award season. His body of work exemplifies originality, superb technical skill and the emergence of a personal voice/vision – the three criteria upon which all works are adjudicated on both the regional and national levels.

2017 NYC Gold/Silver Key Art Award Ceremony for Students & Educators

Schedule
10:30-11:15 am – Certificate/Key Pick-up
11:30 am-12:45 pm – Art Award Ceremony
12:45-1:45 pm – Reception
The Certificate/Key pick-up station will close promptly at 11:15 am. Late arrivals should report directly to the auditorium and will be able to pick-up their certificate(s) and key(s) at the Reception immediately following the Ceremony.
Ticketing
Gold/Silver Key recipients and educators should reserve tickets to attend the Art Award Ceremony and Reception. Each award recipient/educator may bring up to two (2) guests. Be sure to reserve a ticket for both yourself and the guest(s) who will be accompanying you. Check your email for your invitation.
