National_Notifications

Dear NYC Scholastic Awards Community,

CONGRATULATIONS NYC SILVER & GOLD KEY RECIPIENTS

I hope you enjoyed the celebration of your creative achievements at the opening reception at the Met and at the Awards ceremonies at The New School. Please note that if you were unable to attend the Awards ceremonies your certificate(s) will be mailed to the address we have on record in the coming weeks. Please log in to your account to confirm that your mailing address is listed correctly, and update it if necessary. Do not email or call-in address changes.

TODAY IS NATIONAL NOTIFICATIONS DAY

In addition to today, March 14th, being Pi Day, it is also National Notifications Day. All Gold Key recipients should log in to their Scholastic Awards accounts today to discover if they have been awarded Silver or Gold Medals. The recipients of scholarships for this year’s sponsored awards (the Neiman Marcus Award for Fashion, the Neiman Marcus Award for Jewelry, the Editorial Cartoon Award sponsored by The Herb Block Foundation, The RBC Flaunt It Award, and The Gedenk Award for Tolerance) will also be announced.

A QUICK NOTE ABOUT NOVEL SUBMISSIONS

Online notifications will be available after logging in to your account in mid-April. Stay posted for more details.

CONGRATULATIONS NATIONAL MEDAL RECIPIENTS

Congratulations to all of the 2016 National Medal recipients and to their parents and educators! You will soon be receiving important information in the mail concerning your award(s). This information is also available via your dashboard after logging in to your account. After reading through all of the materials carefully, you may direct your inquiries to nationalawards@artandwriting.org. You are encouraged to email instead of calling for a prompt, informative response to your inquiry.

Thank you for participating in the 2015-2016 Scholastic Awards. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of this year’s National Medal recipients.
