Calling all Sophomores! Parsons Scholars applications are due on Friday, October 24, 8:00pm
Parsons Scholars is a FREE need-based 2.5 yr long college preparatory program for NYC public high school students. Accepted students attend Saturday and summer programs on full scholarship, study with college professors, and have incredible support in preparing for college. Students are accepted as sophomores and remain in the program throughout their high school career.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded 7 college credits!
To apply:
- you MUST be a NYC Public HS student in your sophomore year and able to demonstrate financial need.
- you MUST attend the Parsons Scholars info session on Wednesday 10/15: 4:30-6pm. (That’s THIS Wednesday!) at Parsons’ Teresa Lang Student Center, 55 West 13th St, (between 5th and 6th Ave.), Room 202. Application support will be provided.
- you MUST be passionate about Art/Design with sights set on majoring in the field in college!
- you MUST fill out this easy Online Application Form by Friday, October 24th, 2014.
