Stars

Specter of sun

Sliver of moon

Glistening speck

Celestial lagoon

Chills down my neck

Like the shot of a gun

Fleeting and young

Gone far too soon.

Dark, Different:

beautiful means alone

black shiny paint

eyelids of smoke and sky

laughs fast, beautiful, alone

muddy feet in satin shoes

dark, different world

dark, different dream

boys who tell stories

father who watches

whole world in love

dark, different girl

dark, different dream
