A House of Monsters
Whenever you look in a closet there is always a scary monster
He just waits in there for you to see him
He feeds on the darkness of terror.
Whenever you look under your bed there is always a scary monster
He waits for you to look for something and see him in darkness
He needs the face to fuel him
Whenever you go into a dark forest there is always a scary monster
He waits behind a tree to see your face
They need to see you to survive
Whenever you go into a dark unknown room there is always a scary monster
He is hidden ready to surprise you when the lights go on
He feeds on the darkness of terror
But are all these monsters in life meaning to hurt you
Every monster in every closet or under every bed?
All these monster prepare you for the real world.
The monsters always build you up
Making it so a real monster in your life
Won’t scare you
And will help you get over it
Maybe they are all just nice sprites?
